Our story
Created in 1991, first as a subsidiary of state-owned EIRECOM, ASTEC GLOBAL provides independent consulting services to institutional clients (European Commission, Agence Française de Développement, EIB, EBRD, Irish Aid, World Bank, UN, among others) as well as private clients.
Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, ASTEC GLOBAL relies on its Brussels and France offices to ensure that projects receive dedicated attention toward international partners.
ASTEC has a strong and diverse “partner network” around the world. This network of over 150 organisations includes specialist service companies and regional associate companies that are qualified to work on international projects.
ASTEC GLOBAL became independent in 1999 and was led by Seamus Mc Cann and Cliff Anderson, whose know-how and experience, allowed the company’s activities to develop quickly to become consortium lead of large EC framework contracts as well lead partner on large D4D contracts.
In 2023, Seamus and Cliff handed over the company to a new management team but are carrying on supporting ASTEC international operation and projects as part of the technical advisory board.
